Pours gold into a shaker. White head quickly. Cracker and sourdough aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel and cracker upfront turning to mild earthy hops in the medium length finish.

Taster pour at the source. Appearance is slightly hazy dark orange/light brown with trace sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma is caramel malts, fruit and an almost candied-sugar sweetness. Taste is mild tart yeastiness mixed with sugary sweet. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and dry finish. Overall, consistent with the style but fairly weak flavor.

Taster pour at the source. Appearance is clear, dark brown/ruby with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste is strong roasted malts, earthy, bitter. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry, mostly bitter finish. Overall, not bad but pretty one dimensional.

Taster at the source reddish black with a thin tan head. Aromas of roasted malt hops. Taste is thin and dry needs more body and depth like chocolate coffee something more than hops.
