Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade Dark brown/black in color with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates. Roasty medium caramel maltiness with roasty astringency and earthy hops to counter. On the sweet side for the style, but quite tasty.

16 oz. can traded by tfontana. Aroma is roasted notes, a hint of chocolate. Flavor has roast, chocolate, barley. Smooth finish with limited bitterness. Smooth texture. Relatively comparable to Guinness. A bit better then American Guinness.

16 oz. can (4/21/21) from the brewery. It's an opaque black with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width tight foam beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong pleasant toasted malts, dry European hops and earth. Taste mirrors aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not the most exciting style in the world but this is a good representative of it.
