Ashland draught, 6/10/25.
Clear, lighter amber-copper. Small, white head.
Herbal and spicy hops on top of a malty body with mostly base malt and minimal toast. Clean and snappy finish.
Green raisin, honey and soft pepper with light herbal and white wine notes on the finish. Could use just a touch more attenuation to make the finish a bit more snappier. But this is pretty fantastic and the flavors are killer.

Ashland draught, 6/10/25.
Quite hazy, blonde-brass. Small, white head.
Juicy with light melon and tropical fruit. Guava, white wine, cracker and honey. Clean, no excess sugar, resin or yeast.
Pineapple and berry. Seems like Krush and/or Strata. Well, definitely Krush. Bitter, drying berry and mineral with unripe tropical fruits. Dry and earthy. Really not a fan of this hop.

Ashland draught, 6/10/25.
Clear blonde-golden. Small, white head.
Guava? Pear? White and black pepper with honey-like malt below it. Turns to rich bread and light clove on the finish. Clean. Hard to get at its personality from the nose.
Peppery (black) with pear and light honey. No big clove, no bubble gum or crap. Sure tastes like Dupont yeast to me and it's done well! Soft, honey-dense malts with herbal hops and more black pepper. No breadiness or annoying, punchy Americanized acidity. Soft and malty with excellent hop character. Pear and pepper lingering alongside honey.

Nitro tap Ashland 6/10/25.
Clear, glassy brass-blonde. Neat, creamy, white, nitro head.
Creamed corn, mineral and earth. Maybe some gooey, fresh sourdough. Pepper lingering.
Corn and sourdough, though low acid. Sweet white bread with more corn and a good malt depth. Dries out with light pepper and light sourdough. Pretty dang flavorful for its size. Clean. Lotta corn-like flavor reminiscent of a corn lager.

Ashland draught 4/18/25.
Dark mahogany with dark chestnut highlights. Clear. Small, creamy, dark beige head. Decent retention.
They definitely got a lot out of the malt. It's not bursting forth with aromatics, probably on account of the nitro treatment, but as it warms and breathes, you get chocolate rye, raisin, cinnamon, pumpernickel...not just a nose of roast/caramel/chocolate. Clean, no booze.
In the mouth it's equally vibrant with more of the same. Rich chocolate with spicy rye-like notes, mild roast and mild dark fruit. Vanilla, more dark bread and raisin on the finish. Medium body, ample for its size and strength. Good attenuation. Very polished.

Ashland draught, 4/13/25.
Not sure if that's diacetyl or just buttery-toasty crystal malt. I'm leaning heavily towards diacetyl. This has been on tap a while and maybe the lines are long and not cleaned enough?
Hmm, no, the flavor shows no diacetyl, but rather a ton of rich caramelized sugar, toasted malt and caramel. Good chew to it but drying out nicely on the end. Maybe even a bit too dry with some scratchy crystal malt.

Ashland draught, 4/13/25.
As pictured.
Light, bright, juicy, lightly sweet, lightly floral raspberry. Really well-extracted/expressed.
Soft, juicy, with chewy bland wheat and goof dryness and biscuity notes balancing the fruit sugar. Low but appropriate acidity and a soft, chewy, deep texture. Was dreading getting this but they nailed it and made it enjoyable. Not too sweet, not too acidic, but also not skimping on malt or raspberry. Great balance and flavor.

Ashland draught, 4/13/25.
Moderately hazy, very pale with lemon and blonde hues. Small, white head.
Juicy with big citrus and moderate tropical fruit notes. Guava, orange, fruity yeast and light honey and cracker-like notes from the malt. Big barnyard on the end.
Dry, excellent bitterness leaning in to the spicy mosaic heavily. Some will say scallion. There's big sulfur and other mineral with an amply malty body, yet very high attenuation making it maybe a touch too dry and scalliony on the finish.

Draught, 4/13/25.
Clear, pale peach-brass. Small, white head.
Smells very buttery with a bit of mineral or even a touch of metallic character behind it.
Big butter, though not rendering the beer undrinkable. Rather, rendering the beer in to an English golden ale of sorts, I guess. The texture is still malty, the beer dry and as snappy as can be for having a lot of diacetyl in it.

Very juicy with a lime and mineral edge. Stone fruit, light white wine and funky mineral. No weirdness, resin, alcohol.
Cracker, biscuit, medium spice, heavy mineral and white wine with tart tropical fruit, white wine and a good malt depth and attenuation. Wow, this is dry, malty, very spicy and chalk full of funk and mineral!

Another draught sample, a week later proves maybe a bit aspirinated and quite dry and bitter, though there is still the lovely spice and mineral.
