Clean, fairly light golden-yellow colour with bigger bubble carbonation. The head is bubbly-fizzy, white, not lasting too long, nor leaving much lacing. Beautiful, fresh pear aromas with a touch of apples, yeast and tart. Wet mouthfeel with a tad tart, decent dryness that comes through eventually. The pears do continue in the flavours with some mild corn lingering. Quite a refreshing American Lager with pear notes and not over-corny. Can from the brewery.

Can from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Almost opaque, dark brown-mahogany with light viscosity, nice sparkle, ample head with poor retention and splotchy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, toffee, dark chocolate, coffee. Taste is roasted malt, oats, dark chocolate/cocoa, mild coffee. Smooth texture, lively carbonation, roasted bitter finish.

Can from the brewery, pouring a clean golden colour with an amber hue, a light-beige bubbly head, not much stay, not lacing. Banana-wheat aromas that are rich, with some clove notes. Mineral touch in the taste with a touch of wheat and spices. Not much stickiness - which I like, but on the watery side. Missing a little balance.

Can from the brewery on my first visit. Clean, light golden colour with a fizzy white cap, not much stay, nor lacing. Nice herbal hop aromas with a tad spiciness, over the malt which gives out pear notes. The taste is mild, but still has decent bite with the light grassy hops over the cereal malts. A nice drinkable America Lager with decent hop, pear notes and a bit of Pils-spiciness.

Purchased one can of each on my first visit to the brewpub. Clean, very light yellow colour with a white creamyish head, decent retention and full lacing. Orange peel aromas with chamomile perfume notes and a tad coriander. The flavours are milder, but comes out in the finish. Get a touch hazed near last pour. An easy-drinking Witbier that is refreshing.

Can at home in Canaan - picked up from Willey’s. Pours rich brown with a staunch, foamy khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with nice mellow roast character, cocoa, earth, dried fruits, a little leather. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, fairly rich, lovely dark malts. Solid.

16 oz can. Black in color. Aroma and flavor are exactly the same. Roasted malt, chocolate, earthy milled grains. Nice mouthfeel, chewy oat texture. Above average.

Brewery draught, 3/15/24. Clear, dark brown, not black. Medium-sized, dark beige head, modest retention. Cola, nuts, coffee, some light vanilla and cream with plants and more mineral. Pretty roasty and toasty. Quite high bitterness from dark malt. Maybe the hop acids combine but this is too much. It's not thin or anything, just tannic, resinous, over roasted/toasted.

Brewery draught, 3/15/24. Quite hazy, bronze-maize. Big, thick, creamy, beige head. Sweet and fruity with a hint of citrus and plentiful tropical fruit. Big malts. Maybe too sweet? Pushing it. Very fruity, juicy guava and rich, thick malts. Light bitterness, not none, but not quite enough. Clean, lightly hoppy with light pine and orange.
