Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Heavy mint aroma!! Light body, very herbal and minty with a dry finish. An odd creature indeed - but not disgusting. 210113

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Subtle roast and quite some nuts in the nose. Medium body, a dry nuttiness with a tart edge. No real hoppiness. Not sure about the tartness, most likely not intended, but it doesn’t entirely spoil the beer. Rustic and messy though. 210113

330ml bottle [Thanx Claudius!]. Cloudy reddish dark amber with average, frothy to creamy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Minimally sweet fruity aroma with notes of red berries and a dry leather touch of fruit parings. Taste is moderately sweet fruity, notes of red berries, later a bit earthy with a leather touch. As all the other beers from Desprat weak on the "beer side" with a monotonous emphasis on the more or less adequate addenda. In this case the berries could have done very well with a better worked-out beer.
