Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! Appearance is cloudy dark yellow-light brown with nice sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and fair lacing. Aroma is strong mix of citrus, grape, herbal and bit of dank dirty clothes hamper. Taste is mix of mild sweet fruit and dominant strong resiny bitter, mild herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp, dry bitter finish. Overall, nice strength to aroma and flavor but too bitter for the style (more conventional IPA) and a bit over carbonated. Could use some work.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! Appearance is pale yellow with fair amount of dark floaties, no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and mild lacing. Aroma is perfumey-floral with light champagne. Taste is strong white/green grape, mild yeast. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry finish as taste. Overall, on the sweeter side of Bruts but still within the style range. Decent.

Can from the source. The can is marked The Safe Word and is listed at 8.0% abv. Maybe there was a recipe and name change? Pours a lightly hazy deep gold color with a decent sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Resinous pine and onion nose and flavor with a sweet bready malt that's a bit sweeter than I've had in a while. Tasty old school dank IPA.

Can from Greg and Jane's Just a touch of haze in a light gold beverage with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly recedes. Green apple on the nose initially light metallic, sweet bread and floral hops. Taste is better than the initial nose. Decent

16 oz. can. Aroma is bolder tropical fruit until it warms. Then it’s a wet dog aroma. yep, I typed wet dog. The flavor is the tropical hint, soft citrus with a hint of pine. Alcohol shows just slightly. If you can get past the wet dog, it’s pretty good.

16 oz. can. Aroma shows honey malt, funky yeast, minerals. Flavor is lightly grassy with a soft honey-ish balance. Yeast in the finish with a crisp texture.

Taster pour on tap at NH Brewfest. Appearance is deeply hazy, dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, thin ring of white head. Aroma is mix of bready malt, light herb, mild fruit salad--kiwi, grape, stone fruit, yogurt sweet. Taste follows aroma with some bitter balance. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, decent but not fantastic. It's not perfectly bipartisan--it leans a tad too bitter for me.

On tap at Flatbread Portsmouth Hazy light gold in color with a small bubbly white head that quickly dissipates. Bready fruity and light cracker. Decent beer

I'm classifying as a Pale Ale but may need to be corrected. Taster pour on tap at NH Brewers Festival. Appearance is deeply hazy/cloudy yellow with light brownish tinge, almost finger-width foamy white head with good retention. Aroma is strong grapefruit/citrus mix. Taste is sweet and bitter grapefruit and tart fruit. The tart quality almost dominates. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin, frothy texture, flat-to-soft carbonation, and finish is more grapefruity sweet and bitter than the tart fruit. Overall, flavor is fairly unique but not necessarily in the best way for me. Mouthfeel is not great.
