7-5-7-3-14 Can, c2248, three months before bbd. Pours clear maroon, with a big creamy, mocha head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread, caramels, and nutty notes, as well as earthy hops with herbal notes and spicy minerals. Fairly full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with syrupy bread, chocolate and nuts, as well as earthy hops. Short finish. Mellow and balanced.

Black with a huge light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and oatmeal sense. Light bitter, some sweetness with a roasted malt and oatmeal end.

500ml bottle, batch 696, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm off-white head resting on top of a deep copper coloured body, spotty lacing. Inviting aromas of nuts and bread, mid-sweet. Fine balanced taste of nuts, bread, and caramel offset by noble hops. Malt-driven ending with a lightly roasted bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice. (Tromsø, 26.05.2023).

From bottle at MB2 24.05.23. Dark brown to ebony. Diminishing brown head. Fine aroma and taste of roasted barley, rye bread, cigar box, espresso, barn and liquorice. Solid bitterness in aftertaste. Good!
