Beer tasted under artificial, coloured light, Appearance marks average = 4. Again the sulphury nose, maybe typical for Riegele; pale malts galore, and cucumber. Very intense, near toasted taste, slightly burning MF. Highly carbonated, very slick. Very soft-hopped but nonetheless nicely flavoured beer, but the CO² is a bit aggressive.

Beer tasted under artificial, coloured light, Appearance marks average = 4. Draught Dry, but fresh malts jumping up. Lots of yeast notes, malts obvious. Pretty sweet, a bit sugary, but ends spicier.Rosewater - probably a streak from the yeast. Light body, grist slickness. Regular, none-special Helles.

Beer tasted under artificial, coloured light, Appearance marks average = 4. Draught Clove, bit of meaty esters, and rhubarb at the end - bit of lemon too, after some time. Fruity, with mainly citric flavours, and certainly less meaty than the nose suggested; however, bit lactic around the tonguesides. Spritzy MF, medium bodied. Typical Weizen.

Beer tasted under artificial, coloured light, Appearance marks average = 4 Banana, cloves and fresh bread, intense aromas. Sweet, with more cloves, and nutmegged banana in the finish. Very sticky palate with yeast slickness. I liked it, despite its nearly caricatural vectors, but it is nowhere easily drinkable.

If I got the explanations of Braumeister Müller right, the brewery has no less than 5 different "Kellerbiere". I tasted 3 different versions: effectively all on draught: from the lagertank, one "with English yeast", and an experimental version with American hops. Notes are in essence for the second version. Chablis-coloured beer (Lagertank version), good head. Nice hopnose, rainwater, bit of sulphur or cabbage. Lagertank version too cold for a nose; in the "American" version C-hops (probably Amarillo) come to the fore, with lemony, flowery notes. The lagertank version has a superb noble hopsflavour, and a concentrated Pilsenerflavour, the normal veriosn a bit more burning flavour & mouthfeel, slightly fruity, whilst the American version is sweeter, with a lot of rosewater, and very little bitterness. The lagertank version has a discreet palate, with a very long-lasting hopflavour, dry, as the normal draught version, but on the verge of astringency, the American version is a bit sticky on the palate. The lagertank version is in fact more what we expect, the "übliches" Kellerbier has a very special flavourprofile (but I dig it), the American version is IMO a great experiment, but not all tasters agreed upon that.
