Bottled@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Deep nutbrownish orange colour with mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is wheat, rye, mild riped bananas and spices. Nice aroma. Flavour is very honeyish along with wheat, caramel, riped bananas and some rye. Also toffee comes through in the aftertaste.

Bottled@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, some mild earthyness as well as a bit of fruits. Flavour is caramel malts, burnt sugar and some slightly wooden bitterness. A rather mouthdrying experience.

Draught@Monks Cafe, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Hazy yellow colour, big creamy white head, leaves good lace. Aroma is wheat, herbs, yeast and some mild notes of rubber. Flavour is wheat, banana, mild hebs and some yeastyness. Wellbalanced wheatbeer, but nothing special.

Draught at Monk’s Café, Stockholm, as Monk’s Bohemian Pilsner
Light blond color, nice head. It has a strong herbal hop and hay aroma. Medium bodied, good malt flavor, cereals and grains, correct bitterness, with a drier mouthfeel in the end. Pleasant.

On tap. Comes as "Monks Bavarian Pilsner". Clear golden with a creamy, white head leaving broad curtains of lacework. Clean aroma of malt and flowery hops. Medium body, clean malts and dry, flowery accents. Ends lightly bitter. Very clean and well crafted. According to the cellar master at Monks Cafe, Stockholm this is a variation over "Riegele Herren Pils". 011108

On tap. As "Monks Bavarian Pilsner". Clear golden with a creamy white head leaving a broad curtain of lacework. Clean malty aroma with some flowery hops. Medium body, clean maltiness and dry, flowery accents. Has a light bitterness. Very clean and well crafted.

(Bottle 33 cl) As "Riegele Augsburger Herren Pils" Pours pilsener golden with a white head. Medium-bodied with sweetish pilsener malt nicely balanced by some bittering hops. Solidly crafted. 5/3/6/3712=2.9 290506

On tap. Comes as "Monks Light Lager". A clear, pale golden beer with a fine creamy head leaving neat curtains of lace. Very clean aroma of malts and flowery hops. Light-bodied with a clean maltiness, flowery hops and a dry, lightly bitter finish. 011108
