Draught@Monks Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, a bit yeasty, grassy and also has some slight honeyish and plastic notes. Flavour is quite much the same, but without the plastic notes. Wellbalanced.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, keller sour, nutty notes, brown sugar notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090813]

Clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with caramel and roasted malt. Sweet flavour with caramel, roasted malt and chocolate. Finished sweet. Not bad.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber golden brown with a small and light off-white head. Roasted and breadish malt aroma. Roasted breadish flavoured, dry and bitter with a light alcohol presence. Roasted and bitter finish, vague metallic note.

Muddy blond color; creamy head. Spicy aroma, dirty water too. Dry mouthfeel, light wheat and banana flavor, quite watery mouthfeel. Useless.

Bottle, 4.9%. Clear golden colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour has some flowery hop notes. Good maltiness. Slightly sweet, but very pleasant.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, rich creamy head. Papery banana aroma. Sweetish and soft with the slightest hint of raisin. Light bodied but not thin with evident citric banana flavour. Unusally well made non alcohol weizen.

Draught@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm as Monks Bavarian Pils. Pale yellow colour, beige creamy white head. Aroma is hops, grass, some earth and mild notes of saltwater. Flavour is saltwatery, hoppy and quite much earth. Good pils, but a bit too saltwatery to be really enjoyable.

Draught@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Deep rubyish amber colour. Small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, some malts and a bit rubbery notes. Flavour is darkdry fruits, malts, caramel, some rubber and mild earth.

Bottled@Monks Café, Sveavägen, Stockholm. Deep, almost non-see-through, ambery brown colour with small white head. Aroma is caramel malt, some slight notes of hops, grass and earth. Flavour is hops fruits, some caramel and mild earthyness. Rather pleasant doppelbock. When warming up it gets rather plummy.
