On tap at The Squire's Landing, Sydney. Clear amber beer with a thin film of suds on top. Patchy lacing. High fine carbonation, sweet floral nose. Sweet malty taste, fruity hoppy finish with lingering grain. Very nice, like a lager for adults.

On tap at The Squire's Landing, Sydney. Pale amber beer with a thin white head. Tropical fruit nose with some background caramel and pepper. Bitter with a light fizz. Finish is fruity with lingering weak fruit cordial. Not horrible but not a beer you'd want to repeat.

On tap at The Squire's Landing, Sydney. Bronze coloured beer with a thin white head, medium carbonation. Hoppy nose, a touch of grain. Nice lacing. It's nicely bitter with English hops to the fore. Finish is quite tannic and dry. Easy drinking as a brown ale should be.

Pint on tap at The Crafty Squire, Melbourne. Golden amber beer with a thin white head. Light lazy carbonation. Nose is light lemon and malt. Lightly fruity. The finish starts like acid drops then develops into mild dry bitterness. Drinkable, not particularly interesting.

Pint on tap at The Squire's Landing, Sydney. Pours a pale amber with a thin white head. High carbonation, slight haze (unusual for a kolsch). Nose is sweet malt, a touch herbal. Effervescent, cleansing with a sweet finish. Late peppery bitterness is true to style. OK.

Pint on tap @ The Squire's Landing, Sydney. Crystal clear pale amber beer with a thin white head which reduces to a thin film. High carbonation. Grainy nose, some grass. Taste is malt with a lingering sour grain finish. OK lager but outrageously expensive.
