Description
Humpty Dumpty Brewery was founded in 1998 in Reedham, Norfolk, and moved to its current location on Church Road in 2001. We take our name from the GER Class T-19R steam locomotives that operated on the Norwich – Lowestoft line in the early 20th Century.

The brewery operates an 11-barrel brewplant and produces a wide range of award-winning real ales.

We are now a well-established multi-award winning microbrewery in the heart of the Norfolk Broads delivering cask and bottled real ales to pubs and other outlets across East Anglia.

Many thanks for this Deep Black IPA to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). Dry, Absolutly Dry, Absolutly I love it. Doskonale smaczne i basta.

Bright clear amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, but with a good tang, some classic 1970s beer tastes here, but ramped up. Tingling spice. Ripe citrus and overripe fruits. Smooth tangy fruity caramel finish. Seriously old school and quite flavoursome, could just do with a little sweetness.

330ml bottle: BBE Apr 2021. Drank at home on St George's Day 2020, during the virus Lock In. Left the sediment in the bottle, clean amber body, off-white crown. Malty front with some fruit cake like notes in both the nose and taste. Liked it.

Creamy light brown head stayed on a clear reddish brown still - looks marvellous! Pumpkin, spices & berry aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the front with clean back. Metallic, berry, spicy, pumpkin, vegetal & pine tastes with a peppery finish. Nice one.
