Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweetish grainy malt with straw and some bready notes. Flavour is too sweet for a Helles with light bitterness. Medium body. Boring. Lacks noble hop nuances.

Bottle with swingtop 0,5 ltr: Clear amber coloured brew with an smooth sweet bitter taste. Hints of caramel, fruits, nuts and some spiciness.

Bernsteinfarben. Leichte Trübung. Schaumentwicklung eher gering. Traubensaft und Röstmalz in der Nase und spielt auch geschmacklich eine große Rolle. Außerdem findet sich ein Hauch dunkle Schokolade, getrocknete Früchte und winzige Spuren von Leder. Den hohen Alkoholgehalt schmeckt man, ist aber keineswegs zu vordergründig. Obwohl hier 7 Sorten (!!!) Hopfen verwendet wurden, ist das kein überhopftes IPA moderner Prägung. Das grüne Gold wird dezent, aber sehr gekonnt eingesetzt. Wenig Kohlensäure, schön weich und voll. Das schmeckt schon gut. Ein schweres und besonderes Bier für besondere Anlässe. Trotzdem: Um die 6 Euro für eine einzige Dose ist schon etwas übertrieben elitär. Limitierte Edition hin oder Anzahl der beteiligten Brauereien / Hopfensorten / Malzsorten her. Bottle 50cl. from Alehub @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Fruity nose. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, lot of small bubbles, good frothy whie head, good retention and lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, white grapes, grassy and citric hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, light malty, citrusy, white grapes, some yeast. Medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation, short semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering fruitiness, yeast notes, refreshing, nice.

Can at Gasthof zum Sonnenwald, Schöfweg after a walk from the house Sunday 9th June 2024. Pours dark brown, reddish brown with a white/off white head that rapidly disappeared. Notes of caramel and toffee, these also show in the mouth, it's got a dark sticky fruit vibe, tastes like a Bock. Good, just checked and it is a Bock.

Bottle picked up from REWE, Regen and consumed at home Wednesday 22nd May 2024 after a little bit of gardening and a volunteer shift at Grafenaur Tafel earlier today. Pours gold, good clarity, cereal and honey bars. Sweetness is a little bit too much, malty but not picking up too much in the way of hoppiness.
