About
Former name: "Münch-Bräu Eibau".

In 1810, the Eibau brewery was established by the Zittau brewing community.
The location of Eibau was confirmed by King Friedrich August I (1806-1827 King of Saxony) as the first rural brewery in the Zittau area. Since then, beer has been brewed here in the heart of the Upper Lausitz.

Light roast, not a lot else. Black pour with decent head. Light bitter end. Fairly pedestrian, but no major faults. Can.

Can 500ml (KCM Mikkola) Berliner Geschichte Bock. Brewery has lots of 6,7% bocks listed, so probably some aliases here which have not been connected. Pale amber colour, small white head. Light honeyish, green apple, alcohol aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Honeyish, some apple, light malts and alcohol. Feels quite low quality - not horrible but nothing to praise either.

Berliner Geschichte Export Bier. Golden colour, small white head. A bit cereally aroma, some wet dog too. Light-bodied. Okish maltyness, herbal hops, not too much metal. This one is from deep DDR. Certainly cheap Supermarket beer (not cheap in Finland) but as such on higher end.
