355ml bottle from Ngon Vietnamese restaurant, Newcastle. Light lagery yellow, clear with intense visible carbonation. Skunks and almost garbage aroma. Sweat and slightly bad corn. Taste is better, extremely sweet bit inoffensive. Finishes on a more balanced note. Light body with soft carbonation despite the appearance. Mmmmm. Nah.

500ml can from a Hanoi Circle K. Poured a clear yellow golden colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is malt and corn. The flavour is light bitter, with a light, crisp, watery, malt, herbal, light corn, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Passable when cool and fizzy, but when it warms and the flavour becomes more pronounced, it’s poor with a capital P, but not the worst I’ve had.
