4. 375ml bottle from Left Field Beer. 2016 vintage. Pours hazy peach with no head. Aroma is barnyard, funk, cherry. Taste is heavy sweet, barnyard, cherry, lemon. A stringent finish. Full bodied. Pretty cool but not really my kind of thing.

2016 vintage. 375mL bottle at Mikkeller Brewpub London, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with white wine grape skins, gentle funk, and oak. Flavour is not a lambic at all, but there's a real nice white wine character, followed by white wine vinegar, and a touch of oak. Somewhat wild character, but there's a bit too much acetic character. Smells better than it tastes. Good.

375ml bottle as part of a delivery from New Zealand Beer Collective. Yellowish pink and cloudy with a ring of white head. Tart mothball notes with loads of fresh cherries. More tartness in the taste, really fresh with berry, champagne vinegar. Medium to long finish with spritzy carbonation. Really simple but all the more effective for it.

375ml bottle as part of a delivery from New Zealand Beer Collective and drunk at home. Pours white gold, clear, some visible carbonation and a small ring of white head. Big Sauv Blanc aromas: gooseberry and white grape with some musty funk. Exceedingly tart taste, more white grape here, leading to a big sour finish. Spritzy carbonation. Exceptional.

500ml bottle. It's been in my beer fridge for a while, so it probably has five years of age on it. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, oak and boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smoky, roasty, light chocolate, light dry coffee, liqourice, dry oaky, boozy alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Corked and caged bottle pour (BB 24 7 14!!!, wow, I knew they sold some old bottles but that's ridiculous!) from Fort Point Market. It's a hazy golden yellow with a fine mist of floaties, nice sparkle, thin cap of white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong cherry (a bit like Life Savers or cough syrup) and wheat with a smidge of funky tart. Taste is strong cherry cough syrup with funky tart aspect. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, the aroma was OK but taste over the top cough syrup. Though quite old, did not seem to vary much from three most recent reviews. Not my bag.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas' place. 2016 bottle. Slightly hazy golden. Funky, manure, white wine, oak, fruitiness, sour, a bit lemony. Very good.

Clear, amber color and almost no head. Nise is sweet, dark honey, something herbal. Taste starts bitter-sweet, i tense honey, faint hopps and a rather short finish
