750mL bottle, #338, bottled 8/16/15.
Hazy, chestnut-colored with a rapidly receding beige head. Fades to nothing.
Floral hops precede a bready maltiness that seems dry from the nose. Not really any rich toffee or caramel, but it is an alt not a bock so that seems fine. Clean, though, which is appreciated. A little bit of roast and toast and no alcohol noted.
Perfumey and floral hops are lovely and very fkavorful, with soft, toffee-laden malts and low, fairly tight carbo. Lightly sugary, seems like it could be more dry, though the sharp, perfumey hoppiness is a bit problematic and does need a good deal of maltiness to balance. A bit more carbonation may be beneficial as well. No alcohol notes. Messy, odd sharp hops and a bit sugary, but would be interested in trying their more dry offerings, if they exist.

750 ml bottle with a bottle date of 16 August 2015, bottle number 338 but doesn’t have an overall number is not shown?? Hazy cloudy copper color with no head. Aroma is a earthy German malts, caramel, maybe a fall like spice, nutmeg ? Toasted grain.
Flavor is German earthy malt base. Sugar and toasted grain. Pretty sugary sweet, could use some sort of balance of the malt.

bottle #338 of 99.Thanks AFH for sharing! 750ML, This is a cloudy light red almost plum color beer. not much head. Smells nice, a light cherry aroma with caramelized sugar and pineapple. Taste-wise, hops are pretty faded, a chalky like mouthfeel with oily finish. High bitterness that lingers, woody, oak, good tree fruit taste, a bit bark-like.

Bottle pour into tulip glass. Born on date 3/14. Aroma is strong caramel, hints of alcohol. Appearance is brownish like apple cider with no real head to speak of and a little bit of transient lacing. Taste is sweet malty caramel bready/toast which mellowed with breathing--initially had a burn like isopropyl alcohol (I think this was too old). Palate medium bodied with average to thick texture with soft carbonation. Long caramel sweet alcohol finish. Overall, I think this aged too long so probably not a true reflection.
