Drank in beerstore in Vejle, offered by the seller, who was really enthusiastic in suggesting all kinds of Danish micros. :-) Decent brown ale. Dark color. Malty, chocolat, soft bitter.

Cloudy dark brown with a lasting light brown head. Intense aroma with toffee, biscuits, chocolate and a hint of dried fruits. Dry and lightly roasted flavour with a hint of hops in the finish. A really powerful brown ale that should make most Danish micro brewers take note.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. It pours a really dark brown body, with a big, dense tan head to top it of. Looks really delicious. The nose is smoked, almost like a porter meets rauchbier, with burnt malt, chocolate and coffee filling in between. Very smoked start on the flavor, then burnt malt, chocolate, coffee and a faint flavor of marzipan comes along. It is silky and smooth in the mouth, yet sweet enough to feel slightly sticky. Dry and roasted. Really like this one, it’s far from being a session beer, but if you want to sit down and relax with a nice beer, this one could give you joy for an hour or so. (080301)

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Copper-colored, unclear beer with a beige head leaving lacings. Lovely aroma of American hops with pinecones, citrus and grapefruit, as well as a malty sweetness. Nice sweet and malty flavor with caramel and loads of piney and citrusy hops. Quite low on bitterness. Medium body. A bit thin and sure not a Christmas beer in my book, but besides that, it’s a great beer. (080301)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Black and opaque with a tall and lively, light brown head leaving some laces. Hard burned malt aroma with a whiff of smoke. Medium body with sweetish, hard roasted malts, smoke and tar. Rather malt astringent finish. 220308
