Bottle at De Molen. Poured a reddish orange colour with very little froth and no lacing at all. A very fruity aroma indeed which followed through into the flavour along with some spicy bitterness that didn't last. An interesting beer and worth tasting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opaque black beer. Soft dry palate. Very unfortunate aroma of farmyard - cow shit to be precise! Taste is rich creamy malt but with that unpleasant reminder of the nose as well. Gets a little better as it warms up. Minerally spices come to the fore and the cow pat aromas and flavours fade away. A very strange beer - start of near undrinkable and ends up decent. Weird!

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of soy sauce, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, bread, roasted malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

Cloudy brown beer, decent off white head. Soft dry palate. Sweet malt with a nice undertone of peach and orange. Slight bitterness and a touch of aniseed alcohol. A little off the wall but enjoyable.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque dark brown with a tint of orange and a beige head. Greasy hard roast aroma. Heavy body, hard roast, tar and a little smoke and ashes. I’m not really sure that I pick up any port wine or oak notes from the soaked chips probably because the base beer has a somewhat rough and rustic malt base that overpowers most anything else. Malt bitter finish. But a good strong Porter - it’s just not subtle enough to combine with Port soaked chips - or more chips should’ve been used. 030412
