Bouteille (Merci au lac!): Light amber, cloudy, medium-sized loose off-white head, mild to moderate fruity-hoppy nose with traces of bubble gum and Christmas spices (!?); mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, soft at least; mildly lingering bitter-spicy finish with some balancing pale-malt. Drinkable, but not really necessary...

Hazy, straw color. Visible sediment. Foamy white head that exits quick. Yeasty, bit of pear, mild floral notes. Mild, dry. Light bodied. Watery body ruins it. (JE liked it)

Pours a hazy, dark amber from the bottle. The frothy to foamy head lingers. A mildly yeasty/ fruity aroma greets the nose. Hints of cleaning agent. Taste is mildly bittersweet with a light tartness at the finish. A light spice is noticeable. Body is medium, moderate to mild carbonation. It has its moments but overall is not worth seeking out.

Pours hazy brown from the bottle. Aroma is full of clove & Christmas spices. Taste is mildly bitter and finishes with a light spice. Body is light to medium, carbonation is soft. Overall, pleasant but not a lot of depth.

Pours brown from the bottle. The crown soon fades to a thin, whispy layer. Aroma is quite nutty, reminding me more of a nut brown ale than a Dubbel. Overall full of nuts and ash. Perhaps a touch of tobacco. Taste is less interesting, mildly bittersweet on a palate that feels too watery. Mediocre overall.
