Description
Inspired by norse mythology, 3 ravens tells the story of an unlikely trio: hugin, munin & jack. Hugin and munin were ravens loyal to the god odin who were sent on a quest to find the secret to human happiness. Jack, the third raven was sent by loki to rattle ’em with riddles. The three ravens forming to combine sight, knowledge and creativity to concoct a magic potion is much like our own story: a group of friends—banding together in their thornbury basement—to create unique australian beers.

375ml can and called a 'Partially gelatinated low dairy beer based beverage' - yummy! Pours a murky brown with off white head, good retention and lacing. It should also be noted that the beer weighs a tonne - you could use a couple of cans of this for weight training. Aroma is sweet, lactose, vanilla, caramel malts. Full body as expected and a low tingly carbonation. Taste is lactose, vanilla, malty, salt, some fruity hops. Mild bitterness in the finish Its a very strange beer but I don't dislike it.

330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear pink amber colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeast, light raspberries. The flavour is light sour, with a light, watery, crisp, light tart raspberry, mineral, light biscuit dough palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

375ml can via Beer52; BB 12th Oct 2021. Drank at home on 8th Jan 2021. Hazed golden orange body, white topping. Caramel/malty molasses in the nose and sweet taste, lactose/vanilla like feel through out. Not a style of IPA I am knowledgeable on, and I don't think I am really going to try and find many more! Ha, this is my 17th within this style apparently.

Can: Poured a hazy bright yellow with a white head that dissipated into whispers. Aroma is juicy fruits, tropical and melons. Taste is hoppy forward, then mixes with citrus fruit, tropical, some acidic.

A 2020 Canvent special. Clear light gold. Touch of grapefruit on nose and a little straw. Very dry, which makes it hard for me to like. Just not a style I dig.

Can. Muddy light brown. A bit of caramel on nose. Definitely fudge and custard flavours, and a creamy mouthfeel. Intriguing hints of bitterness in the back. Almost there.

From a 375ml can on 2/9/2020. Pours a murky medium golden with a small head. Has a quite tropical nose - lots of passion fruit with some pineapple and mango. Tastes medium sweet, again primarily passion fruit, pineapple and mango with a firmish, slightly resiny bitterness, with the slightest hint of hop burn. The mouthfeel is silky, the carbonation average. Decent but not inspired to return.

Pours super hazy orange with a small head.Nose shows pineapple, passion fruit, mango, clean malt, tropcial fruit confectionery. The passion fruit only seems to get stronger with time!Flavours include dank hops, pine, resinous notes, passion fruit, clean malt, and raw hop resin-like herbal bitterness.
