Cloudy golden color, small head. Fruity hops, with a tropical accent, but too yeasty. Medium body strength, mild residual sweetness, the hopping is good, resinous, a bit tropical, but too yeasty, hence astringent and harsh.
Nice but too dirty.

Bottle at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Cheers, Ken. Pours deep black-brown with a dense, creamy beige head. Loads of ashy roast in the nose, tangy dried berries, nips of cocoa. Light to medium sweet flavour with further ashy roast, lots of bitter dark chocolate, scorched earth, faint minerality. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Bitter dark chocolate in the finish, more ashy roast, dried and leathery berries. Well rounded, assertive. Solid.

Bottle at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A dark black brown coloured pour with a lasting thin light tan head. Aroma is sweet sweet, vanilla, cakey malts, hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of smooth slightly ashy roast, dark choc, apple, cakey malts. Palate is semi sweet medium full bodied, highish carbonation good stuff.

Bottle at Pigs Ear - cheers Ken. It pours black with a thick tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, toasty, manure, cocoa, woody action and unami and dirt. The taste is smooth, toasty, roasted malt, quite rich, charred wood, powdered chocolate, mind alcohol, spice, slightly burnt, mild astringency and coffee grounds with a drying finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. Quite all-right.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy, yeasty dark orange with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty and muddy, with dank and earthy hops, and a huge yeast soup. Flavour is likewise a yeast soup, with lots of earthy hops, tropical fruits, and muddy yeast. Smells worse than it tastes in the yeast department, but it still doesn't taste great. Lots wrong with this.
Really nice juicy treat Starburst sweets.

Bottle thanks to swap with Scopey. Appearance - orange with a thin but attractive head. Nose - plenty of tropical fruit, some citrus too. Taste - mango, papaya and lime. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good dipa.
