Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with attractive lacing. Nose - grains with some dried fruit. Some lemon too. Taste - same again with the muesli type notes. Palate - light bodied, creamy and with soft but balanced bitterness. Overall - pretty decent. Perhaps more like an old style English Pale Ale.

Bottle. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - pine and lime. Taste - wholemeal biscuits, caramel with still a lime edge to it. Palate - close to medium bodied. Crunchy texture. Dry, if slightly challenging finish. Overall - decent. More of a Bitter.

Bottle from Ambleside Wines, Ambleside. Golden with a head. It has a decent pale ale aroma, but fails to follow through in taste with just a bland hoppiness available.
