Cask at the Agricultural Hotel, Penrith. Amber with a yellowy-beige head. Grubby dirty earthiness, damp straw, bit of fruit and dry leaves. Dryish and a bit heavy on the bitterness. A grubby, dirty bitter that I didn't enjoy.

29th July 2019; Monthly Beer Share in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. 500ml bottle as Windermere Shih Tzu Faced; BBE Oct 2019, brought by my good self. Amber, thin white topping, Malty and fairly sweet with an aroma that gave off 'that aged, dusty smell' you find in cellars, tasted fine though and hides it's alcohol well, I liked it.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie July 19, courtesy of hackbladdock. Pours misty amber, off white sheet atop. Aroma has light cobwebs, overall character presents sweet caramel, a touch musty but not overly so, distant fruity glimpses, biscuity malt.. drinks quite light for the ABV. Fine.

500ml bottle (as Windermere Dog'th Vader): BBE Dec 19. Drank at my brother-in-laws place on 27th May 19. Very dark, black bodied, lightly tanned foaming top. Malts all the way here, chocolate and coffee notes in both the nose and taste, semi-dry finish and not too sweet throughout.

500ml bottle from the source, a gift from my brother-in-law. Drank on his raised patio on 22nd April 2019. Golden body, clean and clear, weak white crown on top. Light malts give way to a solid and dry hop finish, went down well in the afternoon sunshine. Nothing spectacular but a decent enough beer all round.

Handpull cask at the Watermill Inn, Ings. Light gold, clear with the tiniest ring of white head and a bit of lacing. Grain and grapefruit notes and well as some floral touches on the nose. Pleasant sweetish taste, more floral notes, some white grape. Fairly short finish with some bitter citrus peel on the aftertaste. Simple and decent.
