Cask handpull at Simple Simonโs, Canterbury. Very deep ruby with lasting beige head. Looks in cracking condition, and it is. Charcoal roast and lots of choc on the aroma. Great condition in mouth. Lovely mouthfeel. Good dark fruits and choc and this wide deep mouthfeel.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 9 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with green tinges, frothy white head. Fruity nose with malty undertones, grassy hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with strained notes of grassy, citrussy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Rather thin, but with a nice, dryish hop character.
