Nice fresh fruit, but literally like mashed up fresh fruit, and a good dose of strong beer. Kalapinta Cefalu

Relatively low quality imp stout. Just weak and ineffectual. Kalapinta Cefalu

Bottle at enoteca la nicchia. Pours a dark amber, hazy, with crazy head and carbonation. Aroma is intense crystal malts, caramel, vinous, weird slight funk. Odd. Medium body. Flavour is very malty, sweet, lots of caramel, prune, apple. Light metallic note. Not really a saison but there is a Belgian character with a hint of funk... Not bad this. But odd.

Bottle shared on Level 42, 07/02/19. Many thanks! A light hazed dirty orange coloured pour with a halo white head. Aroma is semi swet flabby orange, wheat, floral, apricot, vanilla. Flavour is composed pencil, midget gems, peach, orange rind, light chalk. Palate is crisp, dusty, moderate carboantion. Ok , little flabby.

Bottle split at L6, picked up in Palermo, 07/02/19. Hazed golden orange with a well presented off white head. Nose is grassy, lemon rind, citric tinged straw, toasted grains, light musty wood. Taste comprises stale lemonade, grass, herb, mellow yeast, crackers, grains, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours lightly hazy dirty gold with a frothy, white head. SO so, has some zesty citrus, wheat bread, tangerine, nips of yeast. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more yeast, doughy wheat, citrus meringue. Fine.

Bottle at U Babbio, Palermo, 01/10/17. Off black with a decent tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is earthy, toffee, leather, cocoa powder, light spice, light fart. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, chocolate, black peppery spice, hinternational of tobacco, charr, tangy fruit licks .... almost verging on a lactic trace. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost offered. Lacks a touch of class and depth for an impy stout but it wasn't a chore to take this bottle down on my own.
