Jest w tym piwie cos magicznego, a mianowicie niesamowita kompleksowosc i zlozonosc, wszystko ubite w jedna calosc niczym pigulka sniegu w Krynicy czy w Zakopanem. Wyglad to ciemna nie przejrzysta barwa brazowawa piana trwala i oblepiajaca mola angielska pinte od srodka. Jest w tym piwie cos czego nie lubie, a mianowicie laktoza, ale przymkne oko bo jest...single origin espresso, 95% wypijanej kawy przeze mnie to wlasnie taki rodzaj, dosadna i momentami ordynarna dominuje wraz z kakao czy czekolada gorzka, mimo kawowego profilu jest tu wyczuwalna goryczka i pozostaje w gardle jakis czas. po prostu dobre do babcinej szarlotki.

330 ml bottle, as Kingpin Marquis Dark Braggot, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 12.5%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Small but creamy beige head. Aroma of solvent and detergent, with honey and malts in the background. Sweet and boozy flavour, notes of honey, malt sugar and molasses. Not good.

330 ml bottle in cardboard box, as Kingpin Full Contact American Barleywine Port Wine Barrel Aged, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10.5%. Hazy brown colour, small and thin off-white head. Aroma of molasses, port wine, raisins and oak. Medium sweet and fruity flavour with the same elements as the aroma, while some bittering hops join the distinct oak in a drier finish.

500 ml bottle, as Kingpin Turbo Geezer Double Irish Espresso Stout, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.3%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, vanilla, oak and peat smoke. The flavour is moderately sweet (lactose) and slightly fruity, with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate bittering hops in the dry and ashy finish.
