Bottle at home. Brown color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, foeder. Flavor has that sweet note, ripe plums a bit, vinous a bit, red fruit, toasted malts. Okay.

750mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dominated by the red wine barrels, fairly complex Belgian yeast, and some dark dried fruits. Flavour is very dry, with plenty of woody oak, lots of red wine barrels, some spicy Belgian yeast, and bready toffee. Very dry and lacking the complexity of some of the better quads. Still, very good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Fairly dark brown with small tan head. Light leathery roast with dark fruits and Belgian yeast, very feint wine barrel notes over top. A touch on the thinner side body-wise, but some nice flavours.

Dark brown. Deep fruity aroma, concord grape, a touch of chocolate, nuts, vinous notes. Soft body, again that same fruity note, but more oaky in the background. Malty depth and again lots of fruitiness. Good quality.

750mL bottle. Pours nearly black with a tan head. Caramelised sugars, dried fruits, soft oak, and loads of berry-forward red wine accents on the nose. Flavour has dark dried berries, dry caramel, burnt bread, and a very nice red wine barrel character. The yeast is a bit dialed back, same with the malts. I like the profile, but lacks intensity.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before April 2027. Almost clear, golden with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit floral aroma of honey, vanilla, lemon peel, some banana and light clove. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of vanilla, honey, corn, lemon peel, some banana and a touch of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Blond but way too sweet.

Quite sweet, moderately sour, rather fruity and gently vinous taste of sour cherry, almond, caramel, some red wine and hints of cocoa, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly tart finish.
