Huge, light-yellowish head, fed by lively carbonated plated gold beer and textbook lace. White candi sugar dominating spicy and herbal notes, peppery, undergrowth branches. Faint rainwater/wet dog. Aloholic, boozy characteristics overlying partly toasted malts; white candi sugar, scorched. Some yeast features; branches. Warming up, more bitterness, acorns. Sharpish feel, alcoholburn, bit slick. Very well-carbonated. Another 'tripel'. Too expensive for the boozers on the market benches or on the verges near de koerse, but in the end not much more than a top fermented maltliquor. Txs to Stef!

Crystal clear golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some faint citrus. Bitter taste with a medium bitter metallic finish. Mediocre.

Bottle at home. Clear dark golden with big white head. Sweet malts, honey, dried fruits, cardboard, apricot. Medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Not a typical Belgian blond, almost an imperial lager. Not too bad though.

Huge, dense, just off-white head, irregular, over finely carbonated hazy orange-ochre beer, laceblobs. Vanilla, oak, and dry cereals. Straw, dried hops and clearly white candi sugar. White candi sugar again very much in the front tastewise. Almost boozy, but certainly rather dreary - nothing to get enthusiastic about. So compulsively balanced that nothing hits. It isn't emtpy, but its slickness appears manufactured. Dull booze in a Champagne bottle. And months lost for nothing...

A bit simple, watery, sweetish. Cherry moderately present, but lacking some more beery sophistication. Drinkable, clean, just kinda boring.
