Bottle at home shared with Laura. Hazy golden color, medium to full sized white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, iron / metallic, metallic bitter. Meh. Not very good imo.

Nose features fermented fruit, brown sugar, spice and plums. The taste is classic big Belgian ale - brown sugar, candied fruit, dates, yeast, spices such as cloves and cinnamon, and prunes. A soft fluffy effervescence and a dense rich body add to a typically well balanced taste experience.

25cl bottle, actually drunk whilst cooking dinner (salmon and spinach wellington). Pours a very dark brown, no head. Not as sweet as some faros.. quite light bodied, hints of cola, brown sugar, nutty interludes.. very light and easygoing. Ok.

PBF XV. Thanks Henrik! Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, herbal and some mild bready tones. Flavour is floral, grassy, herbal and mild sweetish grainy tones.
