Can at Yo Sushi, Birmingham. Clear dark gold with a white head and light fizz. Bready, cereal-y notes up front. A little lemon, a little grass and quite an assertive bitterness. Nowt wrong with it, just a bit boring. Clashed badly with my pumpkin katsu curry though.

Can from Co-Op, New Haw. They fucked up on the hazy part... it's a slightly opaque light gold. Thick frothy foamy white head. Aroma has some woody bitternes, citrus and fruit. Low impact. Slightly citrusy with a sweet edge. A hint of spice and resin. All watered down. Gets quite Malty. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Benefits from soft-fizzy carbonation that gives it a lift. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Tries but ultimately a bland attempt.

Can from Co-Op, New Haw. Light gold. Slightly opaque. Thick foamy white head Aroma is certainly tropical. Sweet with a sour edge. Flava mirrors the atoma. Sweet fruit with a tart sour edge. Umbongo-esque elements. Maybe they used the same mango and passionfruit natural flavourings that were found in the aforementioned drink of yore. Underlying stale malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Not great but not awful either.

Mixed box from my local Coop. Clear amber gold. Thick foamy white head. Aroma is herbal, bitter. A citrus streak. Underlying malts. Light-medium bitter, at l3ast initially. Followed by a citrus streak which is oddly syrupy. A sweet fruity and sugary wave then sweeps through alongside chewy malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. If didn't get sugary sweet I would score it more highly. Would still be average but the sweet element does not make me want to finish the glass.
