Can from co-op in Inverurie. It pours quite light yellow with a small white cap. The aroma is fairly sweet and artificial, tinned fruits, peach with syrup, mango, passion fruit and the like. The taste is quite weak and sweet, sugary, tinned peaches, budget hotel breakfast fruit salad, damp grain, wet grass and some soapy floral vibes. Finish is soapy. Light body and average carbonation. Pretty insipid stuff. Artificial a bit sweet. I managed to drink the can, but it was a challenge as it warmed up.

Can from LCB, 4 months still in date. 3/4 hazy orange-gold with nice consistent white top. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, grapefruit, somewhat sweet with a hint of perfume. Taste is quite pine noted with a grapefruit bitterness and a touch of floury white bread. Bittersweet throughout. Mid bodied, fine carbonation, goes down well. Oddly not as much flavour notes as expected considering the aroma. Solid enough though.

Can from LCB, one month in date. Light misted pale gold with consistent white top. Nice aroma, certainly tropical with mango coming through as well as some citrus and hop spice. Taste of decent passionfruit and mango adjunct but the beer elements are a bit basic although a grassy hop does come through. Light bodied, goes down a bit too easily but is refreshing.

Can from LCB, 4 months in date. Crystal clear gold with small white top. Aroma of grains, lemon peel, some floral dustiness. Flavour is a bit disappointing at first - quite a standard thin grainy malt lager. After a while the bitterness kicks in well though with some zest and grassy hops. Light to medium bodied, semi-drying. Ok for the style.

Can from Beer52. Mostly hazy gold to amber with lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma of mixed citrus, mango, underripe pineapple, old cardigans. Taste has a fruitiness and cereal malt. Hop taste is half stewed rather than fresh and lively but reasonably flavoursome. There is a nice bitterness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel with good addition of oats.

Can. Pours near black with consistent beige to tanned head. Aroma of chocolate, aniseed, roasted malt. Taste has a bittersweet vibe with chocolate malts, roast, sweet aniseed and herbs. Medium+ bodied, quite thick on the palate, some hop bitterness. All the elements are there for a great stout but flavour wise its lacking somewhat.
