355ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, coffee, chocolate cookies. Taste is dry, roasty, dark malty, notes of coffee, cocoa, hints of dark chocolate, subtle sweetness, hints of chocolate cookies, a touch of liquorice; dry, minimally metallic finish.

Deep dark brown colour, small frothy tan head, dissipating slowly, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, brown sugar, coffee, some cocoa. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, light charcoal, brown sugar. Roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, light smokey touch, bit cardboard (which I don't find a problem with a stout). Medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation. Well-made and tasty stout, indeed really good.
