Description

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Slightly hazy yellow with a rough, bubbly off-white head that dissipates rather quickly. Tart, leathery apple aroma. Medium body, extreme carbonation, earthy notes and a whiff of cattle manure, apples and yeast. The cork had green mold which probably explain the off-flavors! 141208

2006-06-27, corked bottle, a few years old; Medaille d’Or Paris 2001, Concours Général Agricole, as Cidref Cidre Cornouaille
Hazy blond color; extremely lively bottle. Dry aroma, woody, light hazelnuts. High carbonation, taste of red apples peel, astringent, quite dry. A bit old, but interesting enough.

Cloudy blond color; very nice aroma of apple skins, funky yeast, and some hazelnuts. Dry mouthfeel, but also very soft; highly carbonate, plenty of apple skins, and high astringency.
Very good.

Golden color; frothy head supported by many big bubbles raising. It has a very nice aroma of apples, cellar, dust. Quite dry mouthfeel, the aroma flavor is very light, but there is a pleasant fruity astringency and a nice smoke touch. Maybe too dry and astringent at the end. Very good and interesting.
