23/IX/22 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a (2022-1228) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
A little cloudy amber beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty start, grains, hay, cow fodder, a bit oxidized, very metallic, unpleasant. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit spicy, lots of alcohol, bitter, hoppy, some caramel, more hops, rather dry. Aftertaste: alcohol, bitter, spicy, hoppy, dry finish. Peppers? Coconut? Not getting any of that...

Pretty clear dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: a bit unpleasant, fruity, dried fruits, oxidized, metallic impression, malty, banana peel, and that unpleasant smell I get from other B.A. De Molen and B.A. Struise beers which somehow irritates me, something like overripe melons or so. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bitter start, dry, a bit funky, soft roast, alcohol, fruity touch, a bit unpleasant, meh. Aftertaste: more of the same, a bit tame, lacks some character.

Cremiger, malzig alkoholischer Beginn. Starke Röstnoten, viel Schokolade, Torf. Dennoch süffig, milde Herbe, cremig bleibend. Alkoholisch, langer Nachhall. 12/11/12/12//12

Clear to little cloudy dark orange to ruby red beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lovely, super fruity, all real sour cherries, very nice and intense sour cherry aroma, really nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit watery impression at first, very fruity, lots of sour cherries, a gentle bitterness as well, very pleasant. Aftertaste: soft acidity, cherries, fruity, a little watery in the finish. Too bad, it’s a little disappointing, not sure why I get this watery impression, lack of body or something else? Was expecting more after the very nice smell. Still a more than decent kriek though!

Koffie, chocolade, geroosterd, melkchocolade, creamy, plakkerig suikerzoet, dit is op zich niet verkeerd hoor…

0.33 l can from 'Bierloods22', best before August 2024. Hazy, very pale orange with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, slightly dank aroma of gooseberry, mango, passion fruit and some green peppers. Slightly sweet, gently fruity, moderately dank taste of melon, mango, passion fruit and some gooseberry, followed by a short, hardly bitter finish with a gentle hop burn. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, a bit anaemic.
