Pours a beautiful deep red colour, slightly hazy, and a gushing pink head that immediately disappears. Aroma's: sourish, cherry, light sweet, almond, light brett funk. Retronasal follows this mostly. Flavour is above moderate sour, fruity. Light medium bodied. Dry-ish mouthfeel. A bit of a short finish. Quite nice, but not very vinous tbh.

(Draught at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht, 16 Feb 2023) Black colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with black coffee, cacao, black bread, oak wood and liquorice. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of sweet espresso, black bread, liquorice, oak wood, cognac and a mild roasty bitterness in a warming, slightly boozy, finish. Full body, quite sweet. Tasty and powerful, with a generous wood character. Very nice.

(Draught at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht, 16 Feb 2023) Dark red colour with brief, pink head. Fruity nose with notes of cherries, red fruit and red wine. Fruity, tart taste with cherries, red berries, red wine, oak wood and a dry and tart finish. Hardly any bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well balanced kriek, with a good wood character. Nice one.

(Draught at De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht, 16 Feb 2023) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, slightly hoppy nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, herbs and a touch of dill. Fruity, malty taste with bread, tropcial fruit, citrus, resin, dill and a balanced herbal/spicy bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Tasty and interesting tripel with a herbal touch. Nice one.

Tap at Arendsnest, 7th June 2023. Pours a dirty red brown. Aroma is Sherry, tart fruits. Taste is earthy, tart some fruit and Sherry. Quite interesting

Can opens with beer jumping out of it - in my face... Pours black with a dense brown head with pretty good retention. Aroma''s: dark sugar syrup, boozy, umami, fruity alcohol. Retronasal the alcohol is a bit too pronounced, almost like spiritus/green apples, still with some dark sugar and umami/wood. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Alcohol is a bit sharp. Long finish, some bitterness, woody.
