O Brother Bonita 7.1% India Dark Ale [120117] ...forgot about this one... Black, frothy tan head dissipates Nose - Soft dark malts, very soft citrus, hint of caramel toffee Taste - Roasted malts, dark caramel, bitter grassy hops, hint of scorched toffee malt, quite bitter roast (6.5) Palate - Soft carb, medium body, rich mouthfeel, bitter palate, alcohol fairly noticeable Finish is a bit dry, more bitter roast and bitter zest hops 3 Overall - Full on bitter roasty BIPA, bitter hops but not much fruit, it’s a bit over aggressive with the roast

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Black with a tan head. Great roasty aroma full of chocolate, coffee, mocha. Rather dry flavor, roasty, with light sweetness, coffee, and a bit of dark chocolate. Very nice.
