On tap at brewery tap Maastricht. Deep amber brown colour lasting cream head. PNW hop ipa aroma Pink grapefruit pine resin caramel. Ots pretty drinkable for such a big beer. Grapefruit. Grass flavours. It's OK. A little thin given the abv. Could do with a bit fuller in mouth. Some hop sting on the finish.

On tap at the brewpub Maastricht . Hazy, amber orange colour lasting cream head. . Odd tasting tripel. Yes some candied fruit. Some hop on end. But a weird aroma had flavour. A bit chemical. Not as bad as that but certainly something not quite right. Plenty of booze though. Ultimately disappointing even both some good points to style

Draft @ De Maastricher taproom.
Sympa.

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of banana, banana bread, a touch of crisp bread, some fresh hay, clove overtones. Taste is wheaty malty and slightly grassy, minimally floral hoppy, minimally diluted hints of banana, a touch of fresh hay, a touch of clove. Minimally creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, creamy, still efficacious carbonation. Not overly hoppy, kind of Imperial Hefeweizen (but not a Weizenbock) in a way - OK.
