Bottle picked up from the brewpub, Maastricht and consumed Wednesday 20th October 2021. Listening to Bills & Aches & Blues a 4AD compilation of covers of 4AD artists by current artists. About to cook Salmon and Cream Cheese Stuffed Pasta. Pours mid gold with a white head, nice warmth from the alcohol, however it's not harsh at all. Nice spicy edge, good maltiness, light honey notes, soft moutheel. Good.

On tap at the brewpub Maastricht Netherlands, sat looking at the river, it's a bit grey and colder today, Saturday 2nd October 2021. Pours chestnut brown with a light haze and a beige head. Quite a good fruity tang to this, oak ageing or oak chips used is apparent. Warming but in truth the alcohol is hardly noted considering the abv, a very light spiciness Nice.

Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, fruit, sweet, grain, hint of wheat, rye. Taste is the same, light spice/herbal, rye, wheat tartness, sweet. long grainy aftertaste. not bad, quite enjoy this one.

Bought at Hoppy Bros., brewery's shop in Maastricht, by the old bridge. 75 cl bottle filled and capped in situ. An amber to ochre pour with a short-lived, tan head. Aroma is quite intense: molasses, honey, candied sugar, sizzling cinnamon. Even though the aroma is sweet, the taste is not: dry, not so crisp, quite bitter. Long-lingering finish. Not bad.

Draft @Pieke Potloed, Maastricht. Hazy pale amber, small fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, caramel. Taste above medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, sugary, bit fruity. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, dusty notes, good strength, nice.
