Pale pink, opaque, thin head. Fruity, plum sort of character, with a medium hop bitterness and a touch of pear accents.

On tap at The Magnet, pours an opaque cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has some detergent notes, a bit of muddy yeast, and a touch of hop melon. Flavour is much cleaner, with plenty of melon, hop tang, a little bit of earthiness, and a dry finish. Great NZ expressionβmuch better than the average hazy.

16oz. Nearby Ryan's house, tailgate tasting with Alex waiting for Pictoman coming back from his political event π
Aroma: a lot of NZ hops, car exhausts territory.
Taste: along the same lines, grassy, moderately bitter.
Overall: pretty good.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazy pale yellow with small white head. Dank gas fumes, tangy hops, lightly tropical, soft creamy mouthfeel, comes together nicely, easy drinking.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours clear gold with a white head. Lots of resinous pine and dank oils on the nose. Flavour has fairly assertive pine, dank oils; solid malt base. Solid, nice hop expression.

On tap at Threefold. Pours nearly opaque yeow with a white head. Tons of orange citrus on the nose. Flavour is super chalky, dry orange juice, tons of pith, some damp wool. Very poor.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 29 July 2025). Clear yellow gold with small white head. It's fairly clean, but the hops are all over the place - mild melon and grass with touches of onion. Decent, but a bit directionless.

Opaque, thin head, moderate bitterness, some orangey hop notes, grapefruit. Malts are weak, as usual, the mash game is really an issue with these guys, keeps them in the minor leagues. So itβs decent, one of their better efforts to date.

Opaque yellow. Ok hop aroma. Some hop burn, though. Malts are kind of awol, the result being that would could have been a decent showcase for underutilized varietals ends up wasting them.

Bright pale gold. Oniony as fuck. Sticky malts. Underfermented, by quite a bit. Onions galore. Who the fuck wants a sticky, oniony pilsner?
