Bottle - Thanks to Jeppe for bringing this to Belgium
Muddy, brown body. Off-white creamy head. Aroma of oranges and subtle american hops (cascade) but not aggressively. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Very complex and well balanced flavour. Yummie.

Hazy dark orange, with a medium lasting off-white head. Grass and pine dominated hop aroma. Some sweetness, but quickly dominated by the intense (and wonderful) hop flavour.

500ml bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Hazy brown body under a filmy, beige head. Moderate citrusy hops in aroma. The flavour is also filled with citrusy hoppiness and orange peels. Great succulence offset by hints of caramel maltiness. Fresh and rounded bitter ending. Almost superb in taste (14.01.2007).

Bottle (at the Duesseldorf Gathering): Black coloured with a tanned head, like a freshly prepared Espresso; coffee, roasted malt and espresso in the nose; dry bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft MF; lingering coffeeish-bitter finish. Good, well prepared stuff.........

As Mikkeller Humlefryyyd - thanks to Carlo!
Hazy amber body. Off-white, creamy head. Aroma of cascade, flowers, hops, ... lovely! Caramelish flavour combined with hoppy bitterness, extremely well balanced. Has a warming feel as genever.

Bottle. Meidum head with short duration. Color is amber and slightly hazy. Aroma is strong and full of spices and fruit. Taste is strong with lots of complexity and some alcohol too.

Somebody ought to learn to read - maybe me. I read Humlefryyyd... Very fine & dense, rosy-foxy head; very hazy red-brown beer. Dry, dry hops’ punch in the face, full strength, with an underlying strong cake with caramel aroma. Nice! this is hopslaced orange and strawberry marmalade. It’s extreme, but there is at the same time an amazing balance. Ends alcoholic - but not pure ethanol, lots of higher alcohols as well. Very well-bodied, alcoholwarming, fully viscous, creamy texture. Mikkel, this is one of your best. I could drink this for hours. Thanks, Carlo!
