Description
The micro-brewery La Chamoise was born in March 2015 in Bessines. It takes its name from Niort's industrial past (chamoiseries) and revives the regional brewing tradition, two breweries at the start of the 20th century, one in Niort and one in Saint Maixent’Ecole.
La Chamoise beers are above all atypical, character beers! They are brewed on site, without additives or preservatives. The only ingredients are water, malts (barley, wheat, rye, etc.), hops and yeast, they are neither pasteurized nor filtered. The deposit (binds) at the bottom of the bottles is completely natural (yeasts). It is these yeasts that allow regasification in the bottle and guarantee its conservation.

Bottle shared. Slight hazy pale peach with very short lasting white head. Very funky nose! Roasted corn, quite lactic, tortilla chips, light Brett, soft peach, champagne, dry white wine. Soft but sharp sourness, very light sweetness and some tanninic bitterness. Light bodied. Very interesting but too much roasted corn.
