500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, firm, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, white head, no lacings. Sweet-ish, wheaty malty and fruity aroma, notes of banana, a touch of speculoos, weak leafy and grassy hoppy overtones, a lemon dash. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty and slightly fruity, hints of speculoos and banana, a very cautious touch of strawberry. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Clean, simple, balanced, refreshing - nice.

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, nice head. Malty alcoholic aroma. Starts strong, spicy, some woody-alcoholic notes as well. Some hints of some herbs. Finish well balanced, less woody. Spicy-alcoholic. Interesting one!

Background with some alcoholic spicy notes. Light woody touch. Finish well balanced, warming spicy malty. Nice one!

Smooth intense deep brew. Lots of grain, very sticky with a deep grainy finish. Not too sweetish, highly concentrated, rich but not too much depth there. Grainy sticky with a dry-sweetish finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Jahrgangsbier 16 Eisbock on 15 Dec 2020 at 23:19 - Score: 7. Original review text: Smooth grainy beginning. Caramel, malt. Very grainy, sweetish sticky. Nice, deep, caramel with not too much bitterness. Nice.

Smooth and mild beginning. Soft woody with winey Madeira-hints. Nice fruity winey with a dry body. Dry wood there with a malt body in the aftertaste. Nice though.

Bottle at home. Golden color, full sized white head. Hayish, malty aroma. Flavor is malts, hayish a bit again but less crisp hayish than I would have liked. Maybe it's a little bit old as I've left it for a while in the fridge. Still a very nice malty bitterness though. Pleasant beer.

Überraschend wenig süßer, hell malziger Beginn. Erkennbarer, gut eingebundener Alkohol, leichte Herbe, rund. Süß-säuerlicher Mittelteil, mittellanger Abgang. Nett aber nicht überragend. 10/11/10/9/11/10
