500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Hay, grain, light grass, lard, toast. Dry mild bitterness, malty sweetness. Light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sweet watery finish. A bit dull Helles.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas! consumed at home Saturday 2nd November 2019 listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch and cooking the Indian Shepherds Pie that we made last night. Pours dark brown with an off white head. In the mouth, soft, malty but with an enduring dark sugar sweetness. It's ok but not going to live long in the memory.

Brauhaus 976 aus der Bügerbräu Hersbruck, Fläschchen von Fränky, Hersbruck. - Hell goldbraun, hefetrüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase exotischer zitrusfruchtiger Hopfen, Ale-Hefe, Grapefruit, feuchtes Laub, deutlich herb. - Antrunk kernig zitrusfruchtig-hopfenherb mit tropischer Frucht. Volles, leicht karamelliges Malz mit Honig, wenig süß. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang etwas rauhe erdig-hopfenwürzige Bittere, Pfeffer. Langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Originelles, leicht unrundes doch gut trinkbares Obergäriges, dessen kräftige Ale-typische Hopfung einen deutlichen fränkischen Einschlag hat. (25.10.2019.)

“Hersbrucker Lagerbier“, vom Faß im Gasthof Bauer, Hersbruck (sehr kalt serviert). - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase mildes, reintöniges helles Malz, Vanillezucker und blasse zitronige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk etwas dünn hellmalzig mit leichtem Süßsauer. Hopfen ist nur angedeutet, etwas Zitronenschale. Stark rezent, dünnes Mundgefühl. Im Abgang blasse, vage Hopfenherbe. - Sauberes aber zu blasses Helles. (6.9.2019.)
