Bottle. Slightly cloudy amber with a fast disappearing head. Sweet neutral nose. Super dark-caramel candy, complex biscuit malt notes with hints of dark stone fruits. Quite sweet aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with tiny tan head. Aroma is raisins, sugar, cereals. Taste is the same, quite like a Müsli. Oily mouthfeel with fizzy-ish carbonation. Not great.

Bottle. Lightly cloudy amber with a decent head. Spicy, almost sour/fruity nose. Taste has some grapefruit-sour beer notes, reminding me of a Flugge. Something weird but tasty happened here (slightly over MHD). Caramel/astringent bitter notes in the background.

Brown with a fleeting, frothy head. Aroma full of banana, yeasty black bread. Taste goes in a less pleasing direction—cloyingly sweet with syrupy (banana) and fruity tones that come off feeling artificial, especially at the finish. A crisp grainy note saves this from being a disaster. Full bodied with mild carbonation. It did grow on me, but maybe it’s just the well hidden alcohol.

Bottle, danke Roman! Red amber with a bit chill-haze, low offwhite cream. Dry, light oxidized caramel aroma. Medium light body, lightly sour grainy base, tart off-notes, burnt caramel and paper, bitter hops a few half-lifes hence. Well past its prime even though there is some time left till the BB date of this Bock.
