330ml bottle from Tanners Wines, Shrewsbury. Pours a generally clear blonde, small white head. Aroma of soft, lightly fruity, moderately sweet malt. Taste is standard golden ale territory, with soft underlying fruity notes and a light grassiness. Good social lubricant but no beard stroker.

330ml bottle from Tanners Wines, Shrewsbury. Pours a murky brownish amber, frothy off-white head. Aroma has some pine, leafy malt, moss. Taste mirrors aroma, entering a decent nutty, leafy malty amber ale territory with a certain biscuity bitterness, and nestled berry fruit nods. Nice.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Nice fluffy off-white head. Nose - coffee, but very smoky. Almost more smoky than coffee, in fact. Taste - burnt or very heavily roasted coffee. No maple syrup as far as I can taste. Palate - medium bodied and creamy yet roasty. Dry roasty finish. Overall - solid, but the maple syrup has missing in action.
