Can, many thanks minutemat! Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is gooseberry, tropical fruits, buttery, toffee. Taste is toffee, buttery, gooseberry and some more tropical fruits. Oily mouthfeel. Very nice one!

330ml can, unfiltered: BBD 20 July 17. Poured into a Duvel glass at home on 17th Mar 17 during a ’Random Tasting Evening’ with myself. Can obtained from Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Murky amber body, the sediment coming out before I stopped pouring, beer looked clear until the last few millilitres flew out: clean white head. Dank fruity nose with pineapple esters bursting through. The taste is also on the tropical fruit side, again with pineapple being a big part of the flavouring, just like the aroma. Yeasty feel from my ’full pour’ and I suspect without the sediment it would be a lot sweeter and fruity.

Cask @ The Salopian, Shrewsbury. Pours gold, small white head. Aroma of very soft tinned fruit. Taste is light, easy-going, sessionable not a huge amount going on in the hop department, but very light, breezy fruits. Ok.

Can, many thanks minutemat! Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma is buttery, grassy, caramel, fudge, some tropical fruits. Taste is fruity, pineapple, buttered caramel, toasted malts, some shallots, grassy, bitter finish. Medium carbonation. A bit too buttery to be truly great, but certainly a solid IPA!

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 9/2/2017. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head. Some tangerine fruit, grassy hops, weetabix malts and a decent, dryish, finish. Good.

Black with tan head. Dry roasted chocolate and barley malts, hints of coffee and rotten oak wood. Moderate sweet and bitter and light sourness, maybe served a bit (too) cold. Under medium body and soft carbonation. Like it very much considering the abv.

Sampled from can, at home, kind courtesy of Maakun. Black with tan head. Dry roasted chocolate and barley malts, hints of coffee and rotten oak wood. Moderate sweet and bitter and light sourness, maybe served a bit (too) cold. Under medium body and soft carbonation. Like it very much considering the abv of 3.5%.

Can shared thanks to Santa minutemat. Black with light brown head. Lots of roasted malts, light mineral, wood, light raisins, faint maple, ginger, good amount of fruity coffee, some cassis. It’s very light on the smoke and maple, but definately a coffee stout. No real sweetness, medium bitter and very light acidity. Light bodied. Nice!

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours a misty gold, large white head. Aroma throws up pale malts and fruity hop shades. Has a confident hoppy character with a soft Belgian yeast influence tucking you into bed on the finish. Some juicy citrus coming into play. Yes this is good.

330ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours murky amber, frothy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, luscious exotic fruit. Taste is smooth, almost oaty smooth, with pineapple, papaya, peach, mango, banana. Lacks a little clarity, and peters a little on the finish, but it’s a decent fruity IPA.
