Keg at the brewery. Slightly hazy golden, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of corn, orange creamsicle. Taste is corn, citrus, floral notes. Medium bodied, crisp.

Clear copper medium creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malt. Taste is caramel, stone fruit, toasted malt. Medium bodied, crisp.

Keg at the brewery. Kinda ironic on Mother’s Day. Lightly hazy straw yellow, thin creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt. Taste is pale malt, peach like fruits, piney hops. Thin, lingering bitterness.

The appearance was a muddy burnt dark amber to brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Moderate lace.
The aroma had some roasty nuts, dry sweet wood, some earthiness, some herbal and hay qualities and had some dark chocolate nibs at the very end.
The flavor blended sweetly the prior mentioned aromas with some grassy dryness and melding into the aftertaste and finish.
The feel was about a medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Slight carbonation. Good ABV. Some smoothness.
Overall, good brown ale, though somewhat dry, I’d have again if I could.

The appearance was a ruddy burnt dark red almost brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Light stringy lace.
The aroma had some soft sweet nuts, grassy hops, light earth. Light caramel to toffee malts. Some brown sugar. Some roast.
The flavor leaned to the sweet side. Sly aftertaste of the earth and caramel malts. Quick malty finish.
The feel was medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Fairly smooth along my tongue.
Overall, good brown ale worthy of having again.

The appearance was a rugged semi-dark brown color with a decent foamy off white head. Just a touch of messy lace.
The aroma had some earthy to grassy hops with some basement and leathery qualities. Light dark chocolate and some bubblegum.
The flavor tried to blend the previously mentioned aromas together but seemed to leave out the basement and leather portions, which I didn’t mind. Lingering malty - somewhat chocolate-like aftertaste flowing into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps a tad under with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good brown ale worthy of having again.

The appearance was a dark brown color close to black with a rim of a glossy off white foamy head. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma had a deep dark chocolate roastiness over top of some dark fruits. Mild earthy hops lay underneath. Ends with a little bit of leather.
The flavor seemed like it was all about the dark chocolate roastiness. Earthiness only seemed to slide in underneath again. Adds a little bit of some cereal grainy sweetness which subtly blended into the aftertaste and rides into the finish.
The feel was just a tad underneath from medium in the body with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty nice brown ale leans fairly dry though. But I didn’t mind.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a fairly dark murky brown color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white foamy head that glistened and slid off into the beer as it was consumed.
The aroma had a solid blend of earthy and grassy hops flowing over some soft sweet caramel/toffee malts with some nuts, bread, toast and a little bit of leather at the very end.
The flavor yields to the malty sweetnes of the nuts, caramel, toffee and breadiness. Just a touch of butterscotch rounds this one out. All seemed to blend nicely to ride into the aftertaste and show in the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation was pretty good and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, nicely done brown ale well worthy of having again.

The appearance was a slight burnt dark amber to almost brown color with a half finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated fairly quick. Light lace.
The aroma centered itself around some nuts, cocoa powder and some coffee beans. Slight earthiness came out which developed into more of a blend of earthy to grassy hops. Some cereal grain sweetness at the end.
The flavor blended fairly nice between the sweet and the earthiness. Light butterscotch came out on my tastebuds. Slight smoke and a little bit of woodiness. Aftertaste was all about the malts and some of that woodiness. Finish was fairly quick, somewhat malty.
The feel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Mild harshness of some carbonation seemed to prickle my tongue. Smoke seemed to try and fine tune some of this out. ABV felt as projected by the brewer.
Overall, everything seemed good until some of the carbonation seemed to spike a bit more than expected other than that, it’s mostly a good brown ale from the folks who usually know how to do this style well.
