Can: Poured an amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry caramelized malt notes with some faint residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of dry caramelized malt notes with some faint residual sugar notes. Body is average with good carbonation. Easy drinking amber ale with no major flaws.

Can from the lcbo. Whoooo! Man had a sip of this and realized it slipped my notice it was 11%! But what a 11 percent. Sip is of sweet, almost syrupy hay malt, bright orange flavours, resinous hops that tranforms into a decent bitterness that helps balance that syrup. And of course booze. Hard to hide that much %. It's good, it's got a real Tripel Karmeliet moves to Canada and becomes an alcoholic hopz head vibe. I like it, but it's one and done for the night at that %.

Smells a bit like balloons. Balloon rubber.

Hazed, golden-yellow colour with some orange highlights, a white frothy head and some sticky, foamy lacing all-around. Getting some stone fruits with citrus notes from the hops, in the nose. Some good lemon zest in the taste, yet not too dry in the finish. Blending fruitiness and mild grass. A wet mouthfeel, yet not overly juicy, nor too dry. An easier, drinking hazy IPA that hits the spot.

This porter poured a almost black amber colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include coffee, brandy, alcohol, malt, toffee and molasses. First swig was delicious. Flavours of black coffee, smoke and molasses. Finish is roasty with flavours of black coffee and burnt toast most prominent.

This pale ale poured a hazy, light yellow colour with a nice, fizzy big head. Decent lacing. Scents include grass, lemon and orange citrus, pine and minimal cooked veggies. First swig was crisp and clean with flavours of lemon, grass and pine. Finish is Lemon Pledge with medium bitterness lingering. One of those to me as having too much flavour on the hop side…

On tap at Left Field Leslieville, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma definitely has sangria notes, along with subtle grape skins. Flavour has moderately sweet sangria, a touch of tangy citrus, and even lighter grape. Too sweet for my tastes—attenuate this out more and maybe you’ve got something semi-special. As is, just a gimmicky beer.

On tap at Left Field Leslieville, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has gentle lactose, marshmallow, and toasted malt. Flavour is much the same, with sweet marshmallow and toasted malt. A bit too sweet for my tastes but it’s not terrible. Not my thing.
