Can at Hop Hooligans in Bucharest. Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Dank aroma with pineapple and berry-like hints. Faint bitter with enough hops to keep it mildly interesting. Above average for the style.

Back in production I guess. Draft at the Hop Hooligans taproom in Bucharest. Yellow with a frothy, white head. Pineapple and lemons. Orange pith. Bitter up front, a touch citric, with a lingering acrid finish that wears out it’s welcome. Intense and unbalanced.

Draft at the Hop Hooligans taproom in Bucharest. Listed on the board as Hypno vio Cake, same style and abv. Dark brown, clear, with a thin head. Smells like a dark chocolate cake. Taste is sweet .. way to sweet for my taste. One taste is interesting, but this rapidly becomes cloying. Shared a 200ml glass four ways and it was still too much.

Canned 500ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Hazy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, citrusy and light piney nose. Citrusy, piney, light tropical fruits and bit earthy with dusty dryish finish. Seems not so fresh.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Deep dark purple coloured, medium sized purpleish head, elder in the nose. Sour elderberry and light fruity taste with notes of elderflower and rather dry earthy finish. Quite sour.

Canned 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Murky orange coloured, medium sized off-white head, citrusy and light piney nose. Sweet malty, citrusy, light tropical fruits and bit piney with touch of perfumed grapefruit. Discreet coconut as well, light juicy and light alcohol.
